About Bleu

Bleu, an art gallery, opened April 1, 2006, at 90 Public Square North, Dahlonega, GA, in the building that's home for ArtCart Gallery, Gabee's Cajun Kitchen and Top of the Square Bed & Breakfast Inn. The gallery features richly vibrant and expressive paintings, drawings, jewelry and pottery by artists Beth Brightwell, Terry Ergle, Bill Lawson, Helen Miller, Mike Miller and Todd Strickland.

Bleu is an outside-the-box art gallery with tons of visual surprises and fun. In addition to viewing (and buying - hint, hint) refreshingly different finished art, you'll see artists at work - and play - creating art live at their easels. It's not just the art - we're a pretty colorful bunch ourselves, and for sure you'll get a jazzy answer to your questions about why we put this line here and painted that "bleu."

Want some encouragement for your own artistic endeavors? Bleu artists have special places in their hearts for budding artists. Come and talk about what you're doing or would like to do, and we'll give you prismatic encouragement to pick up that paint brush, pencil or whatever you're putting off doing to express yourself. And maybe you'd be interested in Bleu art classes.

So Bleu is art, fun and more - live art, stories, wit, impromptu live music - and look for a "coffee shop" corner in the near future. Never a dull moment at Bleu!
