Todd is a self taught artist who has been painting for just 2 years. As a kid, he always liked to draw, but he never picked up a paint brush until he was 42 years old. His favorite style is abstract expressionism because it seems to come directly from the subconscious. Todd adds, "When I start a new painting, there is little or no thought as to what the final product is going to look like. I just start painting and let whatever is going to happen ....happen." Todd is very excited to be a part of the gallery and notes, "I still consider myself a beginner, and, now that I am here at Bleu, I am surrounded by some of my favorite artists.... so my experience here should be as educational as it is fullfilling." |
